|Recommended: NoMediocre apartment and horrible service for the price. — My apartment itself is a 4 out of 10. The appliances are dated and the layout is strange. The parking garage has too small of spaces. If you park slightly over the line, your car will be towed and they don t notify you. The staff at the front desk is unprofessional and does not respect the residents. The concierge service at the front desk is inconsistent as many times there is no one present. On Independence Day, they close the club room not allowing residents to view the fireworks. They do not allow any food or beverages on the rooftop as well and enforce this with police. The staff was very rude about this and they treat residents as if they were irresponsible children. The apartment thermostat is tied to the hot water. You cannot have both a warm apartment and hot water. They force you to choose. They are not clear about and upfront about this when leasing you the apartment. Overall, I would not recommend this property to anyone.

|Recommended: YesConveinient, clean but small — So far, living at the meridian has been a great experience. Its location cannot be beat, but as far as parking, there has been way too many times I've had to look all around in the garage for a spot that isn't taken up by a car that's way over the line into an open spot.
|Recommended: YesOverall really great, some things could be improved — It's a really great place to live in general. The appliances- such as the extremely old washing machine and dryer and the lack of ice maker- aren't great but over all the building is pretty nice. I wish the gym were bigger since its always so crowded and that the hall ways didn't smell like everyone's food but in general, I would definitely recommend it to a friend.
|Recommended: YesGreat location; nice facilities; love the farmers market on the weekends! — It's a nice building in a good location. The Courthouse area continues to grow, and the restaurants from the Clarendon area are slowly coming into our part of the neighborhood. Metro (orange like) is really close, which is great. Could use some closer grocery stores, especially if you don't have a car. Farmers market up the street on Saturdays is wonderful! Movie theater is really nice - assigned seats and reclining chairs. If you're planning to have guests with cars for the weekend, make sure to get the parking pass early as they sell out quickly.
|Recommended: YesThe leasing office staff is extremely friendly and helpful! Great location. — It is a comfortable place to live, and the leasing staff is very helpful. The maintenance staff is quick to get things fixed, and they are very polite. There is one lady on the security desk staff who is incredibly unhelpful and rude, to the point where my husband and I avoid going to the desk on the nights that she is working. The hallways and elevators usually have a bad smell of a combination of different foods and pizza. People leave their trash items next to the trash instead of dropping them in the trash chute, usually because these items are too large to throw down the chute (pizza boxes, etc.) which cause the trash rooms to be even more filthy than they need to be. There is construction across the street and you can hear clearly the noise from 5am-6pm from my apartment.
|Recommended: YesQuick and great service. — Living at the Meridian is pretty good. Neighbors could be a bit quieter but the staff is pretty darn good.
|Recommended: YesGreat service, great location — I enjoy it.
|Recommended: YesClean, Affordable relative to the area, friendly staff, good for young professionals — I would tell them that for a young professional, the Meridian is a great place to live. It is relatively affordable (though utility prices need to be taken into account), the staff is very friendly, the building is clean and the location is great. The only drawbacks are the rather small sizes of the rooms and the thin walls, which makes it very easy to hear other roommates and neighbors in different rooms. Overall though, it has been a great experience so far!
|Recommended: YesNice, convenient place to live. With drawbacks — Lots of young people. Really good location near the metro. Lots of stuff to do in the area. Building is nice, and gym is very convenient. Most of the appliances in apartments are old or outdated. Including oven, stove, dishwasher, washer, and dryer. Apartment walls constructed in a way that blocks WiFi signals, creating bad signal strength in rooms.
|Recommended: YesNice amenities, nice apartment complex. — I really like it here. Just wish there was more security.
|Recommended: YesLike it. — Recommend it.
|Recommended: YesGood — recommend to live
|Recommended: YesI enjoy the building but the leasing office is disorganized. — The building itself is nice and well kept. The annual increases in rent are reasonable. Maintenance is quick to fix any issues that arise in your apartment. The leasing office is disorganized and often times it is difficult to get a straightforward responses from them. I am currently being charged the wrong rent amount but have not gotten any response from the leasing office to fix the issue.
Thank you for the review. We always strive to give the best customer service possible and if we failed to do so at any time, we sincerely apologize. We will call you today to discuss the difference in rent that was due to your lease renewal adjustment. Thank you again for letting us know about the situation.
|Recommended: YesAmazing views, great location, fabulous amenities. — It's a great place to live. The courtyard and pool are great. Its mostly young people, which is fun, but also feels a little like "college, continued." It's not cheap, but nothing in Courthouse is.
|Recommended: YesIn general, it's a great place to live. — I would tell them that it's expensive...there's a lot of renovations in the area...but the apartments are nice...several amenities in the building and the location is great. Please...this is a recommendation to the managers of the building - it's time to refresh the fitness center. The TV never work and there's little equipment. It would be good to invest some money to make this a nice small fitness center.
Thanks for your review, we really appreciate the feedback. We recently changed out the TV equipment so there should not be any other issues with the TVs. If there are, please feel free to let us know. We also just added a E-spinner and a few new medicine balls.
