Will Try to Get Money Out of You in Every Way They Can|Recommended: NoThey scavenge for money in any way they possibly can. For example, if you don't return the parking sticker they give you something they are clearly going to throw away then they will fine you 100. Not to mention, they write that they will fine you 100 in sharpie on the sticker. So everyone who gets in my car sees that written on the back of the sticker sitting on my windshield - very tacky. After the amount of money I pay to live here, I expect WAY better customer service. They are not willing to work with you at all and are incredibly rude. Make sure you read every last word written in your lease because they are very sneaky, and once they have you locked in, they don't care about a thing you say. Lastly, they completely close the pool on Mondays for maintenance. I have never once seen anyone doing any maintenance on the pool on a Monday. They are cheap and don't want to pay staff. I will definitely not be recommending Meridian to my friends who are looking in the area.

Wonderful Experience. This is a great place to live post-graduation|Recommended: YesThe Meridian is very comfortable. Everything is basically at your fingertips. The fact that the gym is just downstairs, and the metro being a block away, is wonderful. The leasing office is very responsive to any problems that may arise, and the maintenance team delivers within 2 business days. I very highly recommend this property.
The perfect luxury accommodation for busy people|Recommended: YesI really enjoy living here, everything is well planned and kept. My apt is spacious and light, and has everything I need within arm's reach. The grounds are beautiful and well kept, as is the outdoor swimming pool and indoor gym. It is a nice and quite neighborhood but very near DC, Georgetown and Clarendon for restaurants and bars.
Pay a lot for mediocre experience |Recommended: NoThe finishes are great and having concierge service are an added bonus but don't even try getting any help from maintenance or the leasing office. I have put in several work orders for a leaking window and by leaking I mean cups of water pouring through my window in heavy rain storms and all have gone unanswered. Every time I have talked to the leasing office I get a completely different answer to my question than the previous time. We can hear the neighbors and people as they get off the elevator down the hall and the windows are so poorly insulated my blinds move because of the draft. And in return you have freezing winters and unbearable heat in the summer. You definitely pay for the luxury of this apartment complex with little added bonuses.

Not worth the hassle and money|Recommended: NoWay too loud - can hear everything from the hallway and also from each neighbor, even the stomping walking from the people above the apartment. Heat air insulation is terrible extremely hot in the summer and freezing in the winter - especially in the sunroom. Not worth the amount you spend on rent other than the fact that the Maintenance people always come in a timely fashion to fix problems. Would never recommend anyone living in the sunroom. Nothing about it is an enjoyable living situation - you can hear everything from the highway and roads.

Beautifully renovated apartments in ideal location|Recommended: YesMy husband and I have loved living at the Meridian so far. We moved into a newly renovated unit about 6 months ago and it's beautiful. I especially love the stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and flooring. We had a couple initial maintenance issues right off the bat and they were all fixed the same day the requests were submitted by cheerful maintenance staff. We've also had a lot of packages and furniture delivered to us since we moved in and love that the concierge will deliver larger packages to the apartment and leave them inside. We have never had an issue finding a parking spot in our preferred garage location. The gym is small, but has nice equipment and is not typically overly crowded. We live in a one bedroom sunroom and it feels incredibly spacious Plus, you can't beat the location and proximity to Courthouse Clarendon. My only minor complaints are that occasionally we hear noise from the apartment above us but it's not bad and we haven't had issues sleeping , and the hallways, elevators, and lobby look a little old and dingy compared to the interior of the units we live in Phase II . My main suggestion would be to renovate those areas to bring it up to par with the units.
Great location, great price|Recommended: YesI really have enjoyed living here for the past six months. Aside from the initial difficulties with the leasing office and rudeness of customer service, my roommates and I have enjoyed living here very much.

Pretty good property, but the smell of weed could be addressed...|Recommended: YesI like the building overall...a nice staff and a nice building. I don't have issues finding parking, even though a car grazed mine and I see it still in the garage. I do, however, wish the doors were thicker to keep out noise from the halls. the walls between apartments are also thin. I don't have much issue with that, just noting it. I also dislike the latent scent of weed in the elevators once I had it near my apartment. I don't know the best way to address that if I can't pinpoint where its coming from.

Great place to live. |Recommended: YesI have very few complaints and the ones I do are minor 1. There is almost never any parking passes available. 2. Many hallways smell like a gym locker room. Not sure if this is due to mold from water damage. I have seen a few major leaks since I have been here. 3. My A C has gone out at least 6 times in the year I have been here.
