Too Dorm-like for My Tastessubmitted by Drew D. - |Recommended: NoIt's loud. I can hear through walls, ceilings, and my neighbors across the hall. People have thrown up and left beer cans in my corridor. I thought I graduated and moved away from college 8 years ago, but I guess not. With rent raises and unappealing neighbors, plus a lackluster gym, I constantly have an eye out for a new residence. On the positive side, the parking situation is acceptable, though the spots are somewhat tight. Concierge is generally helpful, though it's not 24-hour like it is at competitor properties. The sunrooms are a great touch, as are the in-unit washer dryers. Location is enviable. In a nutshell, the facility is decent, and in some respects very nice. The neighbors are not. I'd recommend only to friends who aren't ready to move on from their high school college years, and I don't have any friends in that category.

I've read some of the negative reviews and am truly puzzled. In all of our interactions with the leasing office, the concierge and maintenance, the staff have always been responsive, respectful and friendly. I love our building's many amenities, especially love its location. We're less than a mile from my husband's offfice, 3 blocks from Metro, 2 blocks from my favorite movie theater and 4 blocks from our favorite pub The Farmers Market on the weekends is so convenient. The building is well maintained and with the exception of some neighbors who let their doors slam when they leave, it's a pretty quiet building We would highly recommend this building to anyone Love, love, love living here

Very convenient to the metro and other locations. Friendly neighbors. The staff is good. Always responsive. I would highly recommend living here.

Over a few years here, they've upgraded gym equipment, roof chairs, made the pool pass system easier, begun allowing pets. The culture has also become a bit more adult it was a bit fratty a few years ago. But I'm writing mainly to counter the few complaints I see about maintenance. In my experience, I've always very much appreciated is how quickly and effectively management has responded to my maintenance tickets. I've lived with individual landlords before and this is effortless and amazing by comparison. I want to search for a complaint to put here as well, but truly this is a wonderful building if you can afford it.

Luxurious, Clean and Newsubmitted by Jordan J. - |Recommended: YesThis is my third apartment complex that I have lived in within the last 4 years. This is by far the best one. The newly renovated apartments have a very clean and luxurious feel to them. They are very comfortable to live in, and offer great amenities. Reading some of the reviews on here - I see a few negative comments regarding the concierge or leasing office. My experience has been nothing short of excellent with these individuals. They are extremely helpful, and act in a timely manner. If you're respectful , they will definitely reciprocate the kindness. Great overall apartment complex to live in The parking spaces can be a little tight though But that's a non-issue for most

During that time, I have found the front desk attendants to be very helpful and courteous. The rent is easy to pay since its all online via the portal. I've only have to put in one request for service and the item was taken care of within one business day.
Deceitfulsubmitted by Greg - |Recommended: No-Concierge Better off with no one at the desk- rude, never AT the desk, not helpful -Parking overpriced despite the building taking more and more spots away 10 for guest night . If you're a student or a guest that spends more than 1 night in a month there, you may be hounded by Arlington tax collectors happened to my friend from PA -Sunroom not A C nor heat Godspeed to whichever roommate gets that room -Roof is never open despite what they claim hours to be consistently locked all day almost every day . -Maintenance never fixed any of the issues we reported -Deposit was needed solely for financial security since we were young not for damage. More than half of what was taken was due to damage that didn't even exist took pics before moving -Oh, you need to call anyone who works for the meridian that isn't a robot even during business hours You'll be waiting for days so might as well go in person, because people at the meridian don't do phones. Buyer beware.

Affordable wish business staff were approachable, friendly and on the same page on processes.submitted by Emily E. - |Recommended: NoThe quality of the building and apartments are nice for the area and affordable competitive in price compared to other apartment complexes in Arlington Clarendon. I think the amount of change-over in the business department is evident no one seems to be on the same page in regards to building, maintenance, financial, and communication processes which is very frustrating. The staff appears irritable at times when talking with them vs. focusing on coming to a resolution with tenants. On the contrary, the front desk staff in Phase II are very friendly and accommodating, they always have a smile on their face
